The spoiler photos for the Monday, December 15, episode of The Young and the Restless feature Billy and Sally’s launch party for Abbott Communications. From the looks of the images, most of this is before Victor enacts his revenge against Jack Abbott and Billy Boy Abbott. But as the weekly spoilers suggest, the launch party will take an unexpected turn.

Key Takeaways

  • Billy and Sally’s Abbott Communications launch party kicks off in full retro style — but danger looms.
  • Victor quietly puts his revenge plan in motion, with Adam, Chelsea, and Michael playing key roles.
  • Genoa City’s power players mingle, flirt, and watch closely as tensions simmer.
  • What starts as a celebration is destined to take an unexpected and dramatic turn.

Scenes from Genoa City

If these photos of Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Daniel (Michael Graziadei), and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) are from before the launch party, then Phyllis may be attempting to convince Daniel to accompany her to the Abbott Communications shindig. Phyllis will probably have to explain why it’s so important for her to attend Billy’s retro kickoff event. After all, she had once worked for AC, albeit briefly. Little does Daniel know that Phyllis hopes to be a pivotal force at Jabot if Victor’s plan goes his way.

The guests at Billy and Sally’s launch party are all dressed up to mark the launch of the company that Sally (Courtney Hope) and Billy (Jason Thompson) hope to take to new heights. The guests in these photos include Jack (Peter Bergman, who has a Golden Globe Award connection), Diane (Susan Walters), Kyle (Michael Mealor), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Phyllis, Daniel, and Tessa.

Everybody at the launch party is dressed according to the retro theme, including Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James). Apparently, they weren’t too busy to attend. The Winters fam will be witnesses to whatever madness unfolds. What we’re also waiting for is for Devon to mention how Lily (Christel Khalil) is at the party with Cane (Billy Flynn). He should have a little fun with that.

Meanwhile, Nate (Sean Dominic) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) spend some quality time together at Billy and Sally’s party. Do they consider this a hang or a date? They do seem to be growing closer these days.

This is Billy and Sally’s second chance to do this launch party right. The first attempt, Cane shut things down before the guests could even arrive. This time, the partygoers are there, and they’re making small talk while dressed to the nines. Unfortunately for the company’s leaders, their happiness and excitement won’t last. Their party is about to take an unexpected turn. It might be a while before they get to celebrate again.

According to the daily spoilers, Victor (Eric Braeden) orders Adam (Michael Grossman) to put their revenge plan in motion. Despite being Team Newman Media, Chelsea and Adam attend the launch party. They are supposed to cause a diversion or provide a distraction, right? Here, Chelsea catches up with Kyle. What do they talk about?

Meanwhile, Adam and Michael (Christian Le Blanc) talk before or after the party. Michael has his own part in Victor’s plan. He is the one who informed Victor about the steps Jack and the family have taken to avoid this impending AI superweapon disaster. Something tells us there’s no avoiding what Victor has planned for them.

Finally, Cane and Lily attend the party together. They appear to be getting along better than they have in a long time. Cane looks beyond happy to be sitting there with his ex-wife. However, the teasers do hint at Cane and Phyllis setting boundaries on Monday. Are they friends, enemies, frenemies, or something more? After all, before the party, at Crimson Lights, they kissed. So what’s going on between those two?
