The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, October 8, plop Nick in his favorite place to be…caught between two women. Whom he used to be married to.

Welcome Back, Newman

Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) looked confused for the duration of his triangle with Sally (Courtney Hope) and Adam (Mark Grossman). That’s because he’s used to being the one wanted, not the one doing the wanting. Now he is back to a much more familiar dynamic: Stuck between Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

Sure, sure, he acts like he is so unhappy about it. He cares about them both, and he shouldn’t have to choose sides. But we know he’s secretly loving it. BOTH his ex-wives need him? Phyllis for comfort after Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death, and Sharon for…well, he’s not sure what Sharon needs him for. But it certainly couldn’t have anything to do with that. Could it?

Just a Few More Questions

Viewers were confused how Daniel could have even considered that Heather’s death was an accident when she was found wrapped in a carpet…from her own home. Was Heather prone to taking walking along rivers wrapped in the living room rug? Does Daniel think she was walking along, tripped over a rug that was lying on the banks, got tangled up in it, fell in, and drowned?

Yeah, it’s unlikely any of that happened. Which is what Chance (Conner Floyd) — who is apparently a cop again? A private investigator? A concerned citizen? — explains to Daniel. He

needs to do some investigating. And Daniel may not like what Chance’s investigation reveals.

The Boogyman Can

Victor (Eric Braeden) enjoys making Abbotts miserable. If he can’t stick it to Jack (Peter Bergman), he’ll harass Billy (Jason Thompson). But if Victor can annoy both the brothers at the same time, well, then what a happy day for Victor! So that’s what he does.
