The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 6, continue Genoa City’s anti-Cane campaign with Victor announcing he has yet another brilliant, foolproof plan, and Jack keeping secrets.

Next on The Young and the Restless

Victor (Eric Braeden) is angry that Cane (Billy Flynn) came up with something Victor did not. Such heresy must not be allowed to stand! Victor is even more angry that Cane won’t use his “Artificial Intelligence” (like The Princess Bride, we don’t think that word means what he thinks it means) to destroy Jabot. That’s even worse!

So now Victor will team up with Jack (Peter Bergman) to bring down Cane and Billy (Jason Thompson) and anyone else who has recently refused to bend a knee to Victor, until such time as Victor has decided Jack has outlived his usefulness, and then Victor will turn on Jack and destroy him, too. We good?

Jack Isn’t Stupid

Victor assumes Jack will never see his clever about-face coming. But Jack isn’t quite the idiot Victor would like him to be. Or, you know, at all. He sees very clearly what is coming down the pike. And he has his own plan for making sure The Mustache doesn’t use and throw him away — the way he always has done with his own family.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), and Adam (Mark Grossman — here’s what you should know) have to obey Victor’s every whim and then beg forgiveness for not loving him enough, no matter how much they bend over backwards. Jack doesn’t. This means he is entering this alliance with an exit strategy of his own.

The Child and the Grown Woman

Kyle (Michael Mealor) couldn’t even convince sweet, innocent Claire (Hayley Erin) to take him back, but somehow, he remains convinced that he can outsmart Audra (Zuleyka Silver). What happened to Kyle on Y&R?

“This means war!” he screamed, not even managing to sound as tough as Bugs Bunny. We’re sure she is shaking with fear. (And, in Kyle’s mind, desire for him, as well.)
