The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, October 4, point to Daniel struggling to go on after learning Heather is dead. Plus, Sally and Billy growing closer, just as it looks like maybe Chelsea and Adam aren’t meant to be after all.
With Heather (Vail Bloom) dead, Daniel needs to find some way to continue his life. Sure, he has Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) to focus on. She is going to need her father even more than before. But without a job and with Phyllis there to nag him if he doesn’t, Daniel might as well focus on tracking down Heather’s attacker.
So Billy (Jason Thompson) dumped Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) because she allowed Adam (Mark Grossman) to take advantage of and seduce her. (She had nothing to do with it. Not sweet, innocent, naive, helpless Chelsea!) And Sally (Courtney Hope) broke up with Adam for the same reason. (Except she does suspect Chelsea may have been a willing partner.)
So now Billy has no woman in his life — save Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) being…Phyllis. And Sally has no man in her life. Which means the two might as well get together. Their biggest obstacle — save for the utter lack of chemistry — is their ship name. Remember how awkward Billy and Lily (Christel Khalil) were? BilLy? BiLily? Wabbot? Billy and Sally is just as bad. Bally? Silly? BiLLLLy? Billally? The point is, none of it works well.

At the same time, Adam is giving Chelsea a reality check. We can only hope that means explaining to her that her child — his child, too, remember? — is having some health problems. She isn’t the first mother to deal with that. She won’t be the last. Which means it’s not her perennial Get Out of Jail card. She just may have to take some responsibility for her actions. And soon.
