The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 28 bring Christine Blair back to Genoa City where, naturally, Phyllis takes offense at the women who is is here to… help Phyllis’ son?

Nothing Doing

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford — who says Phyllis was crazy here) will do anything she needs to to save her son, Daniel, from being blamed for killing Heather (Vail Bloom). Except cooperate with Christine (Lauralee Bell), the woman who Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) father sent specifically to legally defend Daniel — at Daniel’s express request.

Christine was the woman Danny insisted on loving, even after Phyllis lied and claimed he was the father of her son. Like that’s a reason to break up the wonderful marriage Phyllis and Danny had (the one he entered into after divorcing Christine). Phyllis will never forgive Christine for that. And if she thinks saving Daniel’s life will change Phyllis’ mind, she has another thing coming! Phyllis doesn’t care who suffers because of it.

Hotel California

Jack (Peter Bergman) risked his own sobriety to scare Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) into admitting her alcoholism. Victor (Eric Braeden) will never forgive Jack for that, either.

Now, Nikki tries to return the favor, as she worries about her ex-husband falling off the wagon now that his son has turned out to be even a bigger jerk than anyone previously imagined, and it’s cost Jack his marriage to Diane (Susan Walters).

Come to the Dark Side

And speaking of a newly kicked-to-the-curb Diane, Victor thinks he can take advantage of the situation with Jack and get her to spill all the Jabot secrets she picked up as co-CEO.

After all, Kyle (Michael Mealor) had no problem turning his back on the father who loved and supported him, even when he was acting particularly dumb. Why shouldn’t Diane, whom Jack rejected, be even more eager to help Victor achieve his goals? Truly, is there any more noble purpose in life?
