Young and Restless Spoilers October 21: Why Is Abby Trusting Victor?

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 21, make us wonder what kind of bride – and groom – let a parent plan their wedding. We don’t mean help plan. We mean plan completely. As in not even telling the happy couple where it will be, when it is, what the theme will be, who is invited, etc… (How do you invite people without telling them where and when?) We realize this is Victor, and Victor is perfect and infallible, and everything he does he does for the good of his beloved family, so who could argue with Victor but… for reality?

Father of the Bride

Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) lost their wedding venue. Victor (Eric Braeden) volunteered to help out. Which means taking over the whole thing. And Abby is totally chill with it. He is finding the place, and the food, and the music, and… will he pick her dress, too? Her wedding bouquet? Her vows? Devon is currently furious with how Victor is treating Lily (Christel Khalil). But he is letting the man organize one of the biggest days of Devon’s life?

Peace Out

Victor feels no qualms about lying to Lily and claiming he will let her run Abbott-Chancellor if she helps him oust Billy (Jason Thompson). But he totally had his fingers crossed. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is less sanguine. She would rather not jerk Lily around. But is it too late to make amends?

Strange Bedfellows

Sally (Courtney Hope) is single. Billy is single. Sally is angry at Adam (Mark Grossman) for sleeping with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and Billy is angry at Chelsea for sleeping with Adam. The next step just writes itself, doesn’t it….? We can only hope they realize what a bad idea it all is and nip it in the bud for both couples.
