The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 2, crush Daniel’s dreams for a happily ever after as the truth about Heather becomes inevitable.
Down for the Count
Daniel thought he and Heather (Vail Bloom) had nothing but smooth sailing ahead of them, now that they’d patched up their relationship troubles. Sure, Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is a budding sociopath. But, hey, considering who her grandmothers are, that part was kind of inevitable. And Daniel and Heather can shrug and say, “It wasn’t us. Our parenting was perfection itself. The kid’s just got bad DNA. Tough break.”
So everything was going swell. And then Heather disappeared. Sure, Sharon (Sharon Case) sent some texts to make it sound like Heather was, you know, not wrapped in a rug at the bottom of a CGI river. But Daniel is still worried. And now, he finally finds out he wasn’t wrong to be worried.
MORE: This is one possible plot twist for Heather.
Fight For My Love
Victor (Eric Braeden — who recently shared a big BTS) just loves being Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) secret boss. Audra is one of those poor people that Victor can always threaten with unemployment and losing everything she’s worked for. And Kyle is so dumb that he thinks everything Victor tells him to do is his idea.
It’s time for another game of “Dance, puppets, dance!” as Victor has a new task for the pair. And if they fail well, Victor will do whatever he wants. Not that he wasn’t going to do that, anyway.
Fighting Back
Luckily, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) aren’t stupid young people. They can see through Victor and understand exactly the game he’s playing with Kyle.
And Diane and Jack aren’t about to sit back and take it. They have a plan. That they’re not going to let Kyle in on. He can keep doing whatever he thinks he’s doing. The grown-ups will work this out on their own.
