Young and the Restless Spoilers October 17: Kyle and Daniel Make Bad Decisions

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, October 17, show Kyle putting his faith in the wrong person and Daniel thinking he has nothing to fear.

You’re Not the Boss of Me

Kyle (Michael Mealor) returned to Genoa City convinced he could outsmart his father by teaming up with Victor (Eric Braeden). That failed spectacularly. Now, Kyle is convinced he can outsmart his father…by teaming up with Victor. But it will be different this time.

It’s time; Kyle is older and wiser, and…sorry, we couldn’t finish that sentence without laughing. If anything, Kyle is even dumber than he was a couple of years ago. Then he was arrogant. Now he’s smug. And overconfident. This time, he has committed an actual crime — not just a moral violation. And he truly thinks he’ll get away with it.

Does Kyle not understand that the minute there is any hint of trouble, Victor will throw him to the wolves? And just maybe this time, his mommy and daddy won’t be there to bail him out.

Broken Home

Kyle’s cocky stupidity is causing a rift between Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman), as well. They are fighting over their son…and over how they should react to his actions.

Jack is furious. Diane is furious. But about different things. And Victor is there to needle them both. Oh, Kyle, you’ve picked such an awesome wagon to hitch your star to. Nothing back can come of this whatsoever.

Daniel knows that he didn’t kill Heather (Vail Bloom). So he lets Chance (Conner Floyd) search their home to his heart’s content. Daniel doesn’t know the role Sharon (Sharon Case) played in his wife’s demise. And how she and Ghost Cameron (Linden Ashby) are looking to throw the blame on anyone but her.
