Elena is back in Genoa City.
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, November 21, answer the question, “Where has Elena been all this time?” with, “Oh, you know, wandering around the hospital, waiting for somebody to need her.” Now, Phyllis needs her. So here she is!
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is doing her coma thing, waiting for everyone to feel sorry enough for her. Then she can wake up and remind them that she was right and they were wrong and why people don’t love her the way Phyllis deserves.
But, before that can happen, she needs some medical attention. That’s when Elena (Brytni Sarpy) comes in. Elena says Phyllis needs some doctor’s care. All Phyllis wanted was for someone to take her seriously. Mission accomplished! Of course, Elena’s news for Phyllis’ family may not be what they’d hoped to hear.

Pity poor Summer (Allison Lanier). Her mom is in the hospital, her brother just lost his partner, her ex-stepmother just confessed to killing said partner and to possibly putting said mom in the hospital, and Summer’s boyfriend is at the center of it all as, it would seem, the only cop left in Genoa City.
Should Summer be hitting Chance (Conner Floyd) up for details? Should she be supporting him when he doesn’t think the case is as closed as everyone would like to think? Should she be there for her dad, who still loves Sharon (Sharon Case), no matter what, or should she join her brother in calling for Sharon’s head?
Plus, you know Kyle (Michael Mealor) is about to launch into yet another tantrum, and that’s bound to affect Harrison (Redding Munsell), which will affect Summer. What is she supposed to do?

Diane (Susan Walters) was willing to let Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle call her horrible names in public if it meant helping her son see that his mentor was using him. Jack thought she’d already made all the sacrifices for their son, but there was one more sacrifice from Diane that Jack wasn’t aware of. It would seem she will step down as CEO at Jabot as a peace offering to Kyle.
