Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is clearly troubled by Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) behavior—and for good reason. On last Friday’s episode, Mariah opened up to Sharon (Sharon Case) about spiraling out of control during a recent business trip, admitting she’s been keeping a secret she couldn’t bring herself to tell anyone—not even Tessa.
As her partner begins to sense the emotional distance growing between them, Tessa is left wondering what Mariah is hiding and how it could affect their future. The silence between them is getting louder, and it may only be a matter of time before it all comes crashing down.

Meanwhile, over at the Abbott mansion, Jack (Peter Bergman) reaches his breaking point with Billy (Jason Thompson). After Billy disrespected Diane’s (Susan Walters) recent redecorating, Jack demands a sincere apology from his brother.
