Victor (Eric Braeden) loves making big gestures. As long as it doesn’t include him doing anything he doesn’t want to do. Or anyone disagreeing with how/what he wants to do.
Victor has decided to celebrate Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), so Nikki shall be celebrated — Victor’s way! She doesn’t get an opinion. She just gets to ooh and aaah, and tell Victor how amazing he is, how well he knows her, and how this was exactly what she wanted. So expect that to happen.

Quick, Look Over There!
Victor doesn’t limit his control freak tendencies to merely his blood relations. He also needs total dominion over his employees. Michael (Christian Le Blanc) displeased Victor, so now Michael must pay. And suffer. Not even necessarily in that order. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) isn’t thrilled at how Victor is treating her husband. But she also isn’t thrilled with how Michael is just accepting that treatment. He keeps being loyal to Victor, even though Victor is being awful to Michael. Lauren wants Michael to quit. Michael wants Lauren to quit…telling him that. So Michael is choosing to distract his wife. With a little wooing.
Style Wise
Diane (Susan Walters) was sads when Billy (Jason Thompson) didn’t like her redecorating of the Abbott Mansion. She gave a tearful speech about how she wants to belong and be part of the family. Jack (Peter Bergman) told he she was. Now he’s telling her again. And he has a cool gesture to prove it to her. Who cares what Billy thinks?
