Billy (Jason Thompson) thinks he can charm Sally (Courtney Hope) into buying his latest excuses. After all, this act worked for decades with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), especially when he’d pile on the guilt and whine about how she didn’t support him enough, which meant she didn’t love him.
But Sally is smarter than that. And, unlike poor Victoria, she wasn’t raised by a master manipulator like Victor (Eric Braeden). But Sally does have real trauma in her past. And she explains it to Billy to make her point about why she can’t be with someone like him. He won’t listen, of course. Because Sally isn’t talking about him.
Poor Baby
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is a grown man. He’s a grandfather, if you consider Summer to be Harrison’s (Redding Munsall) mom. And yet, his mommy and big sister still worry about him. That’s normal. You never stop worrying about the people you love.
But Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria also think that they can tell Nick what to do. And that’s a wee bit controlling. Except, of course, their only role model is Victor. So they think they’re only expressing love. There is not enough therapy in the world for this clan.
Snitches Get Stitches
Holden (Nathan Owens) swore to Claire (Hayley Erin) that he is done helping Audra (Zulyika Silver). Holden said much the same thing to Audra.
Except when push comes to shove, Holden stands up for Audra, yet again. Suggesting either that Holden is a liar, that he has no judgment, or that he has much deeper feelings for Audra than he insists to everyone, including himself.
