The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, March 28 prove that there is only so long that Kyle can go without throwing a temper tantrum about not being treated like a big boy at the job his Daddy gave him. This time, it’s Diane’s turn to be the parent who doesn’t support him enough.

Top of the Heap

Kyle (Michael Mealor) was the one who suggested Jack (Peter Bergman) make Diane (Susan Walters) his co-CEO at Jabot instead of Kyle. But Kyle didn’t realize that meant his mom would be the boss of him. That’s unfair! Kyle is a big boy who has a whole bunch of experience running companies his father bought for him, and that means he’s as good of a businessman as anyone.

Sure, he was on board with Diane being co-CEO. But he expected it to be more of a ceremonial role. Planning parties, picking out wallpaper, that sort of thing. Kyle never imagined his mother might criticize Kyle’s work. Or make suggestions for improvement. Or made it sound like Kyle might not be perfect. What’s the point of your Mommy being your boss if you’re going to be treated like…like…like just anybody?

You’re Simply the Best

While Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is fighting Adam (Mark Grossman) on how to deal with Connor’s (Judah Mackey) latest attempt at getting his own way at all times, Sally (Courtney Hope) is there to remind Adam that he is the best dad ever. While we’re not saying it isn’t nice to see such support in the newly reunited couple, we are saying there is more to Sally and Adam than their taking turns telling the other how great they are. They need a real story.

Maybe they can decide to either forget all about the Newman family, or really make them pay for the way in which they’ve instantly embraced Claire (Hayley Erin), who tried to kill them all, versus the way they keep freezing out Adam…who only tried to kill one of them.

The Man Behind the Man

Victor (Eric Braeden) told Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that he didn’t appreciate her allowing Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to live. And you know what happens when Victor disapproves of Nikki’s actions. She goes running to Jack to tell her how wonderful she is. Good thing she has her backup husband always at the ready!
