The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, June 28, promise we’ll see more of Sharon. But is that good news…for her?
After only watching Sharon (Sharon Case) play therapist from her table at the coffee house, Y&R viewers suddenly faced a Sharon renaissance. First, she and Nick (Joshua Morrow) relayed their love story to Faith (Reylynn Caster).
Then she ran into Daniel, Heather (Vail Bloom), and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Sharon was polite and chatty. (Which is more than Faith was. But, then again, Lucy did ask her about being kidnapped. Twice. Boundaries, girl!) But then, she remembered Daniel’s role in Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death, which cannot be good news.
Put that together with Sharon telling Nick that her doctor is adjusting her bipolar medication, and we have to wonder if she’s about to descend into a downward spiral. Which, at least, would put her back front and center in Genoa City.
Jack (Peter Bergman) first offered Kyle (Michael Mealor) the Jabot co-CEO position. Nah, Kyle said, why don’t you offer it to Mom? OK, Jack said, and made Diane (Susan Walters) his co-CEO…and Kyle’s boss.
Now, Kyle is going behind Diane’s back, claiming she’s not up for the job, and, when she calls him out on it, pouting and running off to Victor (Eric Braeden). (It’s the twentysomething version of, “I know what I’ll do. I’ll run away! Then they’ll both be really sorry!”) Jack and Diane are worried about their little boy. Maybe they should…cut him loose instead?
We’ve lost track of the jobs and businesses that Sally (Courtney Hope) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have had at this point. Sally is working for Summer (Allison Lanier) now. We think? And she’s bringing Chloe along with her. Maybe, between the two of them, they’ll figure it out…and tell us.
