Victor (Eric Braeden) feels so bad for Devon (Bryton James). Sure, Devon had an adoptive father in Neil (Kristoff St. John), who was almost as wonderful of a parent as Victor is (almost). But his biological father…oh, poor, poor Devon. Devon’s biological father, Tucker (Trevor St. John, who announced he’s out at Y&R), never puts his son first. He never talks about how family is the most important thing in the world to him and how everything he does is for their benefit.

Victor can’t imagine what it’s like to be the son of such a horrible father. (Well, he can, because Victor’s own father was a very bad man who left Victor in an orphanage — you might not know that since Victor talks about it so rarely — but Victor rose above it. He realizes not all men are as brave and noble as he is, so he can’t expect Devon to do the same.) So Victor is here to explain how Devon should feel about Tucker and what he should do about him. You’re welcome, young man.
