The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 31, remind viewers that Victor should be in charge of all things. He’s moving the deck chairs at Newman Enterprises, he’s bought a company deliberately to attack Jabot, and now he wants to bring Chancellor Industries into the fold. Because nobody can run it better than he can.
Man of the Century
Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) did leave Victor (Eric Braeden) her late husband’s company (not the husband Jill [Jess Walton] had an affair with; the one before that). But Victor sold it to Jill (Jess Walton). Jill did give it to Lily (Christel Khalil) and, later, Billy (Jason Thomson) to run.
Yeah…Victor isn’t feeling it. It’s not what he would have done, so Jill no longer has his confidence. And if Jill no longer has his confidence, well, then she can no longer be trusted to run his company. (Kay, who?)
So Victor will be buying it back, and he’ll be deciding who should run it. At the moment, he’s got his eye on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). But if she should ever disappoint him, well…nothing is written in stone, you know.
Sister Act
Meanwhile, a clueless Lily thinks everything is fine. She and Billy have a Chancellor (soon to be Abbott-Chancellor because Billy always demands first billing). Devon (Bryton James) has Winters. Devon is less chill about the whole thing. He doesn’t think everything is as smooth as it looks, so he has a little test for his sister.
Truth Be Told
Faith (Reylynn Castor) told Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she was worried about Sharon’s (Sharon Case) mental health. Nick told Faith he’d take care of it. She shouldn’t worry her pretty little head. So Nick gently broaches the subject with Sharon. And gets back much more than he bargained for.
