The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, July 26, find mother and daughter Victoria and Claire forced to make decisions that will affect their futures.
Chip Off the Old Block
For most of her life, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has known what she wanted to do with her life. (Well, OK, when she was an adorable, blonde-haired, blue-eyed tot, she most wanted to eat cookies with Miguel and ride her pony. Then, when she was a brown-haired, brown-eyed teen home from boarding school, she wanted to date older guys. And ride her pony.)
But ever since Victoria grew up, she knew she wanted to be seen as Victor’s (Eric Braeden) favorite heir, the one canonized to run his empire. But working for Victor is basically awful. And she’s got other things on her mind these days. Like that older guy, she wanted back in the day. And taking their newfound daughter riding on her pony. So when Victor finally wants Victor to take her rightful place — again — running Newman Enterprises, her first response is, “Uhm…well…maybe not.”
Team Work
And while Victoria is dealing with her father, her daughter is dealing with her boss. Kyle (Michael Mealor) will do anything he has to to make Summer (Allison Lanier — who talked Summer and Claire) understand he’s the big boss and everyone has to do what he says. Or else Kyle will throw another tantrum. Like the one when he told his Mommy and Daddy he didn’t want to take their money anymore!
To make his point to Summer, Kyle wants to use Claire (Hayley Erin). And Clair may have no experience in relationships. And Claire may be dependent on Kyle to make a living. But, nonetheless, her first response is, “Um…well…maybe not.”
Shifting Sands
And while Victor moves his family members around like pieces on a chessboard, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) have to deal with the fallout, which is that the company they both dissolved Chancellor-Winters to run, may not be theirs anymore.
