The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, July 23, continue Victor’s plan to make everyone do what he wants so that he can get everything he wants. What? Is that so wrong?
Stay in Your Lane
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was happy running Newman Media. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was happy taking time off to re-bond with her long-lost daughter Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Adam (Mark Grossman) was — against all odds — happy to be working together.
Yeah, Victor doesn’t care. Here’s what it’s going to be like now: Adam, you’re running Newman Media; Victoria, you’re going to be working with Nick; and Nikki, I have a spot for you, too. You got that? Don’t you just love it, my baby?
Coming Clean
Adam accepted Victor’s job offer he couldn’t refuse, and Sally (Courtney Hope — who had this shocking experience) apologized for doubting him. She swore to Adam that she believed in him and they would live happily ever after. Adam guiltily agreed.
Adam doesn’t like feeling guilty, which is new for him. Both the feeling of guilt and the dislike of it. So, he is considering coming clean with Sally, which would probably be the right thing to do before she finds out from an unhinged Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Who is so eager to keep their secret…that she can’t stop talking about it.
The Way We Were
Sharon (Sharon Case) has been acting strangely lately. Nick (Joshua Morrow — who had this to say about “Shick”) has noticed. (Phyllis [Michelle Stafford] really wished he hadn’t.) Sharon keeps telling him everything is fine.
Nick isn’t buying it, though. So, being Nick — i.e., Victor’s son — he’s decided that Sharon needs to confide in him. On Nick’s timetable, not hers. Because it’s what’s best for her, will Sharon continue stonewalling him, or will she admit that her memories of Cassie (Camryn Grimes) are becoming overwhelming?
