The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, June 22, kick off a new week with an old argument. Jack and Nikki are at odds over Diane. Yet again.
The Woman Between Us
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has never liked Diane (Susan Walters). First, they fought over Victor (Eric Braeden — who recently encouraged people to do THIS). Then Diane faked her death and let Nikki take the blame for it. So, you know, a bit of bad blood. But considering how many other people’s sins have been forgiven in Genoa City, that seems a wee bit hypocritical.
But Nikki has had a lot of her own problems lately. There are too many to bother herself with snarking about Diane, except when the chance comes up to bad mouth her to Jack (Peter Bergman). Nikki is always on board for that! Especially now that Diane is the reason for Kyle (Michael Mealor) throwing a temper tantrum and quitting Jabot. Nikki is horrified, and she feels obliged to tell Jack so. How can he remain with a woman who would manipulate their child like that? Nikki could never, ever be with a man who put business above his precious offspring!
I’m a Bad Girl
Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) need to be the center of attention remains in full force. If she isn’t sobbing about how hard Connor’s (Judah Mackey — who told us about Connor’s OCD) illness is — for her — then she is loudly proclaiming that she and Adam (Mark Grossman) can NEVER EVER LET ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THEIR BIG SECRET WHERE THEY SLEPT TOGETHER BUT IT’S A BIG SECRET SO NO ONE CAN EVER KNOW. And just in case anyone is missing her distress, Chelsea is looking particularly guilty, haggard, and, of course, in need of tender loving care.
How the World Works
Heather (Vail Bloom) is sad that she can’t find a job, go to Portugal, or get Daniel and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) to be straight with her. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has some advice for her, and we’re sure it will be very sane and not make the situation worse.
