The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 1, force Jill to face the fact that her son is still the man he always was — and that’s not necessarily a good thing.
Listen Up, Young Man
Health problems forced Jill (Jess Walton — who did this awesome flashback) to go to England for treatment and left Billy (Jason Thompson) in charge of conveying her wishes at Chancellor-Winters. Billy’s first move was to push to add Abbott to the company’s name — a name that wasn’t even Jill’s but, in fact, Billy’s.
Then, Billy agreed with Lily (Christel Khalil) that they should break up the companies, which is the exact opposite of what Jill wanted. She kept telling Billy she trusted his judgment. She doesn’t anymore.
My Side of the Mountain
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) cares much more about the Winters piece of Chancellor-Winter than he does about Billy and his big plans. Billy can squabble with his mommy, but Devon will take care of the company he and his father built together. He’ll be happy to team up with Jill to make that happen. He doesn’t have to be the one to kick Billy to the curb as long as somebody does it.
Together Again in Paris
With Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in a mental institution in Paris, Abby (Melissa Ordway) makes her way to Europe — now that her family has finally clued her in about what her mom has been going through. She is furious with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) — and we don’t blame her.
Traci is very apologetic…but she has other things on her mind. Alan (Christopher Cousins) is really cute, isn’t he? And as long as he doesn’t turn out to be his psycho twin, we can all hope for a happily ever after! Unless Abby really lets Traci have it.
