The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, January 9, highlight Victor allowing Michael to prove why Victor should trust him again by doing even more of Victor’s grunt work. He’s a giver, our Victor.

Remember how mad Victor (Eric Braeden) was when Michael (Christian Le Blanc) looked out for Victor’s interests by finding a way to put Jordan (Colleen Zenk) in prison without incriminating Victor in holding her hostage? That was an unspeakable offense.
It was almost as bad as when Jack (Peter Bergman) risked his life to save Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). While Victor will never, ever forgive the latter slight, he is willing to give Michael a chance to make it up to him by investigating Ian (Ray Wise).
Victor can’t risk his own family’s safety with that monster. But it’s perfectly fine for Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Fen. Run along, Michael, and take all the risks while Victor takes credit as God intended.

Sharon (Sharon Case) is still missing. Which means Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) is on the hunt. Since there are hardly any police left in Genoa City—where is Chance (Conner Floyd)? How many cases is he on? Is he talking through Summer (Allison Lanier) now?
This means Nick must go through it alone. His only clue is Ian—he doesn’t know about Jordan yet. That’s enough. There is only one place to hide a person in this town. How hard can it be to find?
Eureka, I Have Found Him
Amy (Valerie Pettiford) wanted Nate (Sean Dominic) to find his long-lost half-brother, Damian. So Nate hired a private eye. (Why didn’t Amy think of that, especially since her dad had been a cop?) The private eye (Telma Hopkins) found Damian.
Now, Nate will meet the guy, but without telling him who he really is. Will it be a joyful family reunion? Or another reason for Damian to do a runner?
