The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, January 9, see Jack managing to knock Victor off his smug perch, while Phyllis urges Cane to be more like her.
Key Takeaways
- Victor doesn’t see Jack coming.
- Phyllis pushes Cane to go dark.
- Nick isn’t doing well.
Next on Y&R
Victor (Eric Braeden) is the smartest. Victor is the most handsome. Victor is the most manly, and he is always, always the winner.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to stand up to his criminal bullying, then quickly folded. Michael (Christian Le Blanc) tried to stand up to his criminal bullying, then quickly folded. His kids didn’t even try very hard.
The only person still out there slugging away at the mumbling mustache is Jack (Peter Bergman). He also happens to be in the right. We can only hope that the shock Jack has planned for him will bring Victor down once and for all. HA!
Bad Buddies
Lily (Christel Khalil) told Cane (Billy Flynn) they were over. The words “played out” may have been uttered. We don’t disagree. Lily told Cane to go back to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).
Phyllis would love that. She’s already been played by Victor. Cane is her only chance for revenge. And the illusion of still being in control of the situation.
So now that Cane is drifting back to the dark, Phyllis is there to urge him to go darker and darker. Now that he’s not trying to win back Lily, he can do whatever. Right?
Leg Up
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is in surgery after being attacked by Matt (Roger Howarth). His family is convinced they’re now safe from the back-from-the-dead madman.
But Matt is the definition of “never say die.” Nick is still in danger. And, this time, no one may be coming to save him.
