The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, January 7, clear the decks as Victor explains who Ian’s real target must be.
Center of the Universe
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was the first one to recognize and tangle with Ian (Ray Wise), and now he and Faith (Reylynne Caster) are concerned that he might have been the one to tamper with Sharon’s (Sharon Case) meds (wait till they find out she’s been kidnapped). But even Nick admitted that Ian’s true obsession is Mariah (Camryn Grimes).
Not Victor (Eric Braeden), though. Victor knows that no one could be obsessed with anyone but him. And the best way to get to him is through the people closest to him. This is why Victor vows to protect Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) from Ian. It’s all about him. You got that?

Looking for Love
While Victor is doing that, Nick is going to do something actually useful, which is to search for Sharon. She’s bound and gagged at Ian and Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) motel room, waiting for them to kill her so that they can frame Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).
As far as we can tell, Genoa City is about a half-dozen homes, two restaurants, three offices, and one hotel room. So, really, how hard can it be to go door to door until Nick finds her?

Wonder Twin Powers, Activate!
Phyllis just explained to her children why she is not sorry about anything she’s ever done because Phyllis is always right, and, anyway, she always does it for the best reasons—she loves Daniel and Summer (Allison Lanier) SO MUCH.
So even when she’s wrong, she’s right, you see? Anyway, now that she’s fixed Daniel and Summer’s lives, she can move on to Billy’s (Jason Thompson). Billy needs so much help getting himself back together, both personally and professionally. So here’s what he’s going to do…for Phyllis.
