There was a hot second there when it looked like Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) marriage was on the rocks. Nikki was furious at Victor for what he was doing to Jack (Peter Bergman), and told him that if he didn’t quit it, she was leaving him. She made an angry face, and everything!
But then Victor gave Nikki some bling for Christmas, and reminded her that he was a poor, sad orphan boy, so anything he did wasn’t his fault. As a result, Nikki forgot all about Jack’s family company being destroyed due to an illegal act by her husband.

We agree, it is not a very healthy or smart one. But perhaps Daniel needs to hear that from someone who actually knows what a healthy and smart relationship looks like — and how to keep it.
