The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, January 24, plop fans into a familiar position: Victor doesn’t like what/how Nikki did something. And he’s here to tell her about it!

The last time Victor (Eric Braeden) went head-to-head with Jordan (Colleen Zenk), he locked her up in his torture dungeon until Cole (J. Eddie Peck) and Michael (Christian Le Blanc) pointed out that his actions may have been a wee bit illegal. Jordan went to prison. And then she escaped. Victor will now handle Jordan once and for all.
But then Victor finds out that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has her own plan. That she plotted with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Claire (Hayley Erin). WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH VICTOR FIRST. Sure, Victor can keep it secret from his wife that he’s got a madwoman locked up in their house. (If it was good enough for Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre, it’s more than good enough for Victor Newman, manliest man whoever manlied.) But Nikki had better not dare to keep something from him. Ever. You got that?

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is not having a happy new year. Her mother has been missing since midnight on New Year’s Eve, and the man who stars in most of Mariah’s nightmares is back in Genoa City and acting like a saint when Mariah knows he’s the worst kind of sinner. Mariah is proven right. But it’s not exactly how she wanted it.
