The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, February 5, find Victor stomping from one crisis to the next, telling everyone that he has everything under control. And if they don’t believe him, well then… blasphamy!

Key Takeaways

  • Victor insists on complete trust.
  • Abby and Devon need help.
  • Phyllis backs up Cane.

MORE: Y&R fans are disappointed over Matt Clark.

Next on Y&R

Victor’s (Eric Braeden) plan to manipulate Cane (Billy Flynn) by threatening Lily (Christel Khalil), Mattie, and Charlie is the most brilliant plan since the last one. Everyone should cheer it. And everyone should trust it.

How dare anyone suggest that there are so many places where it might go wrong? Or that it might be morally wrong? Or that Victor brought all of these problems on himself by being arrogant enough to think that he was untouchable? Anyone who feels that way can just see themselves out. And then they can come back. Because no one walks out on Victor without his permission. You got that?

Multi Tasking

Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) know that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark). What they don’t know is where, why, and how they’ll get him back.

Unable to do anything themselves, or with the police, or with both their combined fortunes, Abby and Devon turn to Victor. He is very good at doing multiple things at once. And brilliantly, he may add. It’s about time Abby and Devon came to him for help.

Stay the Course

Cane is freaking out about Victor’s threats against Lily and the kids. He may be leaning towards giving Victor what he wants if it means protecting them. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is here to stop him.

Doesn’t he realize that if Victor is threatening him, that means they’re winning? What’s more important, after all, the family that won’t even speak to Cane, or Phyllis — er, Cane — getting the best of the Newmans?
