Ever since Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) walked out on Victor (Eric Braeden) over his absolutely insane latest plan to get Jack (Peter Bergman) and Cane (Billy Flynn)… then came crawling back a few hours later because she simply can’t stay away from the evil man she married, we haven’t held out much hope for her to bring Victor to his senses. Nikki offered a few quiet chirps about Victor threatening Lily (Christel Khalil) and her children as a way to make Cane give up what Victor had rightfully stolen, but Victor barked that he was doing it “for the family,” and Nikki, as usual, lost her voice, her agency, and her spine.
Nikki can’t stand up to Victor, no matter what. But she can manipulate Jack into doing it for her. Which doesn’t please Diane (Susan Walters) in the slightest. And Diane isn’t afraid of standing up to her own husband. Because he’s not a mumbly lunatic.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is under her daddy’s thumb, too. She will do anything to save Newman Enterprises, even if she knows her father is in the wrong.
So while Victor bosses his children around, Victoria decides to attack Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Totally in the name of business. And not because Billy is her ex… and Phyllis is the woman he gravitates towards almost as often he does back to Victoria.
Man of the Hour
Victor figures he’s got Cane right where he wants him. And Cane does seem to be falling for Victor’s empty threats.
But Phyllis and Billy have no intention of allowing it to happen. So they make their move. Which stuns Victor. HOW DID PHYLLIS SUDDENLY BECOME THE MOST RATIONAL PERSON IN THIS STORY?
