The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, December 24, hope for a Christmas Eve miracle when Diane tries to make amends with Ashley and Traci and Jack reaches out to Kyle.
Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland) had just begun to accept Diane’s (Susan Walters) marriage to their brother—Ashley more begrudgingly than St. Traci—when Diane and Jack (Peter Bergman) staged their fake public break up. Ashley and Traci naturally sided with their brother—not that they wouldn’t have, anyway—but they also proceeded to think even worse things about Diane than they previously had (which is saying something!).
Now, Jack wants them to forgive and forget. Diane knows that won’t be easy. She’s going to have to grovel. Will that do the trick?

Your Presence is Our Present
Yes, Jack and Diane played Kyle (Michael Mealor). But that was only because he was so stubborn that he refused to see Victor playing him (Eric Braeden). His parents did it for Kyle’s own good. He doesn’t see it this way.
It’s hard to stop a toddler mid-tantrum. So Jack needs to treat Kyle like a tantruming toddler, which means bribing him to behave better. Jack has a special present for Kyle. Now, will he be a good boy?
Never Fear; Phyllis is Here
On Monday, Victor explained how he was the spirit of Christmas. On Tuesday, it’s Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) turn to bring peace, love, and joy to all she sees. Will she bless Nick (Joshua Morrow)? Billy (Jason Thompson)?
Maybe Jack deserves to be reminded that she’s one who he let get away. (Sure, she had an affair with his brother. What kind of reason is that to turn your back on the best thing that ever happened to you?) The point is, Phyllis is the day’s Lady Bountiful, and anyone who doesn’t agree is…is…is a Grinch, that’s who!
