The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, December 17, prove that Jack isn’t back down just because it’s the season of love, peace, and joy. He’ll still be friends with Nikki, no matter what Victor says, stand by Diane, whatever Kyle says, and put Billy in his place…no matter what Billy says.
Billy (Jason Thompson) has failed at running his own company with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and he has failed at running his mother’s company with Lily (Christel Khalil). So, naturally, Billy thinks that means Jack (Peter Bergman) should hire him back at Jabot. After all, family and all that.
Jack says he can’t. He’s already given all the best nepotism positions away to Diane (Susan Walters) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). But what if Billy rages and whines and calls Jack names? Nope, sorry, still no. Oh, yeah, well then, Jack will totes be sorry. Billy has a plan! Billy has lots of plans! Jack wishes him well.

Speaking of Jack’s nepo hires, Diane is back at Jabot and now with Glissade as a part of the family company. She’s going to run it, and she’s going to make Jack proud. He won’t regret hiring her. Or marrying her. Or trusting her. But will Diane regret trusting Billy, considering that he doesn’t have anybody’s best interests in mind but his own?

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has led an amazing life. She killed a few people, she married a megalomaniacal control freak, and now she’s a corporate executive who earned her position all on her own. Claire (Hayley Erin) would do well to follow in her footsteps.
Nikki will be here to guide and mentor her newfound granddaughter and teach her right from wrong. She’s not like her controlling aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) at all. She only wants what’s best for Claire.
