The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, December 1, usher in a new month with Lily and Cane dropping the nice-girl act. They pretend it’s over Cane. It’s over so much more than Cane. (And we don’t mean Billy, either.)

Key Takeaways

  • Phyllis and Lily bring out the snark.
  • Victor gets ready to outsmart Cane.
  • The Abbots unite to protect their family company.

Next on Y&R

Cane (Billy Flynn) came back to Genoa City in order to win back Lily’s (Christel Khalil) heart. He kept telling her that, and telling her that, and telling her that. And Lily kept rejecting him, and rejecting him, and rejecting him. So Cane slept with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Not just because of Lily.

Cane also wanted to hack Phyllis’ computer and prove that she’d stolen his super-secret, super-evil AI program. He failed at that. But coming downstairs with Phyllis did get Lily’s attention. She pretended not to care. She cares. Phyllis, for her part, pretended to be above petty squabbling over a man. She’s not. Now, both women finally go at it. Over a man who doesn’t deserve such passion.

Why Do You Assume You’re the Smartest in the Room?

Victor (Eric Braeden) always comes out on top. Because he is always right. About everything.

So we know this squabble with Cane will end with nothing short of complete and total victory. But, in the meantime, we have to pretend to be on the edge of our seats as Victor sets up yet another trap for his latest adversary. Will it succeed? Will Victor win yet again? It’s a stumper, alright…

You’ll Remember You Belong To Me

After Victor is done swatting away Cane like a pesky fly, he plans to turn his sights — and his super secret, super evil AI program — on Jack (Peter Bergman) and his family company, Jabot.

But Jack isn’t one to lie down and die. And he’s got a lot more experience going up against Victor. Throw in Diane (Susan Walters), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Traci (Beth Maitland) — and whatever it is Kyle (Michael Mealor) thinks he brings to the table — and Victor just might not win completely. Right away.
