The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, February 28 find Claire facing the same dilemma that eventually finds every Genoa City citizen: Do they do what’s best for themselves, or what’s best for Victor? Now, obviously, we know how this story will end. But Claire is still a newbie. Let her believe she has any say in the matter.
I Have Been Changed For Good
Claire (Hayley Erin) went from wanting to kill all the Newmans, to allying with them against her aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Now Victor (Eric Braeden, who shares how he conquered bladder cancer here) has a brilliant idea! Claire will use herself as bait to draw out Jordan from her hiding place.
So that Victor can deal with the evil woman the way she deserves to be dealt with. (Obviously, jail was the wrong call. They couldn’t handle her. Not the way Victor could.) Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is concerned. Her daughter is emotionally fragile, mentally ill, and not ready to head out into the world — much less make informed decisions.
Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better
Victor disagrees. So what if Claire isn’t done with her therapy? So what if she might suffer a setback? Isn’t her emotional and mental stability worth sacrificing if it means getting Victor what he wants? This Jordan situation is all her fault, right? So she needs to be the one to make amends and fix it.

You know, the way Victor always takes responsibility for his own crimes. Victor is teaching his granddaughter a valuable lesson. Victoria should be thanking him, not fighting him. Has Victor never mentioned before that he always puts his family first? Which is why he expects them to do the same for him.
You’ve Got Trouble, Right Here In Genoa City
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) wants everyone to think she’s fine. Look how she’s accepted the truth about Tucker (Trevor St. John) and isn’t obsessing about him anymore. Ashley is totally fine. So why is she having flashbacks to things that may or may not have happened? Why is she hearing voices? She’s fine. She’s totally fine.
