Young and Restless Spoilers August 7: Adam Comforts Sally

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 7 are a mismatch, as Adam is there for Sally, Jack tries to be there for Kyle and Summer, and Billy wonders if she should be there for Bill.

When the Rain Starts To Fall

Adam (Mark Grossman) has been so busy trying to keep Sally (Courtney Hope) from finding out he slept with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that he’s forgotten to actually, you know, spend a pleasant time with Sally. His girlfriend.

Yes, Adam is very, very worried about Connor (Judah Mackey). But Sally has stuff going on, too. And she’d like her boyfriend to periodically pretend to be interested in her once in a while. Adam knows he’s been seriously slacking, and so he moves to make up for it. But will his sudden attention only make matters worse?

Playing Peacemaker

Jack (Peter Bergman) went all out to celebrate his and Diane’s (Susan Walters) first wedding anniversary. She seems to have forgiven him for their conflict over Kyle (Michael Mealor).

And now that they are in a good place, Jack presses his luck and tries reconnecting Kyle and Summer (Allison Lanier). Even if they don’t get back together, they can at least be more pleasant co-parenting Harrison (Redding Munsall). If they don’t, who knows? Harrison could head down Connor’s road. His life has been just as stressful as Chelsea and Adam’s son.

You Bet the Wrong Horse

But while Adam and Jack are trying to make things better, Lily (Christel Khalil) is wondering if she’s decided for the worst. She turned down working with her brother at the family company Devon (Bryton James) built with their dad to join forces with Billy (Jason Thompson). A guy who has already betrayed her personally. And he’s certainly not above doing it professionally. Plus, whenever anyone calls Billy out on…anything, he starts whining and playing the victim card. Does Lily want a lifetime of this?
