Young and Restless Spoilers August 26: Jack Gives Kyle a Chance To Grow Up

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 26, show Jack once again being the bigger man and desperately hoping his son might do the same.

Give Peace a Chance

No matter how whiny and obnoxious Kyle (Michael Mealor) keeps acting, his parents refuse to give up on him. Diane (Susan Walters) tried to talk some sense into him, and now it’s Jack’s (Peter Bergman) turn. He should kick the brat to the curb. He offers Kyle an olive branch instead. Will Kyle accept it? Let bygones be bygones? Especially after Adam (Mark Grossman) reminded Kyle of what a great dad he had… as opposed to some other people. Or will he dig his heels in even further in an attempt to prove that he is such a smart, savvy businessman? No one will ever pull the wool over his eyes!

Once and Again

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) split up ages ago. But Phyllis still keeps hanging around her ex. She knows how much Nick misses having her around. And she keeps giving him life advice. Because, let’s face it, other than marrying her and fathering their Supergirl, has Nick ever made a correct decision in his life? Nick thinks so, which is why, this time around, he feels obliged to give advice to Phyllis. But why should she listen? What does Nick know?

The Way We Were

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) thought his problems were over when he and Heather (Vail Bloom) reunited, and Lily (Christel Khalil) came to an agreement about his video game. But now he’s got Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) to worry about. She’s been lying, drinking, and pouting. Perfectly normal teenage things. Why, Daniel used to be like that himself. And that’s precisely what’s worrying him. He knows what happens when a teen is allowed to get away with any of the above. And he will do anything to protect Lucy from herself.
