The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, July 12th spy danger circling Victor like a pack of feral wolves, Neil giving Ashley a surprise, and Mariah looking for advice about how to handle Tessa.

Victor (Eric Braeden) got a kick in the teeth when he lost custody of Christian to Nick (Joshua Morrow).
The social worker thought he was too preoccupied with the problems at Newman Enterprises. (He was. He’s also older than Pangea, and oh, let’s not forget, NOT CHRISTIAN’S FATHER.)
Victor was right to be worried. Someone – whether JT (Thad Luckinbill) or a lookalike – is out there, gunning for his company… and for him.
Whatever his motive, someone wants to destroy Victor professionally and personally, and they want Victor to know that they’re coming for him.
All Neil Before….
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) gave Neil (Kristoff St. John) some insider information, for which he was grateful (instead of nervous about being arrested). Ashley and Neil have been friends for a while, so why take this info?
He dated her stepdaughter, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), but is a spark of something more developing between them?

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) seems to have gotten over her crush on Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), as well as Tessa appropriating those feelings for the song she stole.
They appear to be friends again, teaming up to say vaguely mean things to Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Camryn Grimes). Hey, maybe they can turn that into a song!
Still, will Mariah be content with matters staying as they are? Does Mariah want something more? How will she feel if Tessa starts dating someone else?
Mariah needs some wise advice, but is the person she turns to really the best one to be dispensing it?
