The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 14, find Jack and Phyllis deciding they’re not going to take it anymore. They are ready to strike back at the people who hurt them!
Key Takeaways
- Jack decides to get back at Patty.
- Phyllis sets a trap to free herself.
- Victor wags his finger at Nick.
Jack Decides Patty Will No Longer Control the Narrative
Up to this point, Jack (Peter Bergman) has been walking around Genoa City, telling anyone who will listen that he is not to blame for sleeping with Patty (Stacy Haiduk). She drugged him! After Victor (Eric Braeden) kidnapped him!
Genoa City believes him. But that’s not enough to get Diane (Susan Walters) to forgive him. Or Victor to quit smirking. So Jack decides to quit playing defense and go on the offense. If Patty won’t admit her role in his downfall, then Jack will convince her that’s not at all what he wants.
Phyllis Prepares a Dangerous Counterattack Against Victor
Like The Princess Bride quote, Victor is furious that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) used the AI program Victor stole from Cane (Billy Flynn) and used to decimate Cane’s company to then steal it back and use it to steal Victor’s company. How dare she?
Victor is taking Phyllis to court, using fabricated evidence. So now Phyllis is defending herself by trying to shift the blame. To Cane? To Billy (Jason Thompson)? To Victor? She has set a trap. Someone will fall into it. And it won’t be her.
Victor Pushes Nick Harder as His Addiction Battle Worsens
Nick (Joshua Morrow) is addicted to prescription drugs. Victor is against that. He let Nick know. And yet that wasn’t motivation enough for Nick to quit cold turkey.
Victor doesn’t understand why his son isn’t obeying him, and so reminds him that Victor told Nick to get over it. What’s the holdup?
