Cane (Billy Flynn) enjoys having flunkies to do his dirty work, and now he’s back to Holden (Nathan Owens). Cane hired Holden to go after Victor, and Holden was cool with the concept. Cane warned that it would be a dirty job.
OK, Holden shrugged. But it’s one thing to say it, another thing to do it. And still a third thing to have other people find out about it. People like Claire (Hayley Erin), for instance.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) was understanding about Mariah (Camryn Grimes) kidnapping Dominic (Ethan Allen Ray)… up to a point. Abby could be generous when she thought Mariah would go on trial and be locked up for life.
When Abby found out Mariah’s punishment was a stint in a mental institution after which she would be free to return to Genoa City, Abby was less pleased. The Newmans may rarely remember that Abby is one of them, but the connection sure does come in handy. Abby is a Newman, an Abbott, and kind of, sort of, a Chancellor. Which means when she wants to pull strings. She has plenty available to pull.
