The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, April 14, put Diane in the position of having to accept Nikki’s terms — and Diane isn’t feeling it.
Key Takeaways
- Nikki wants a Newman-Abbott truce.
- Lily is worried about Malcolm.
- Holden lets Cane know they’re newly related.
Nikki and Diane Clash
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) agrees that Victor (Eric Braeden) did a naughty thing when he had Jack (Peter Bergman) kidnapped, which led to his drugging and seduction by Patty (Stacey Haiduk). Nikki will deal with Victor on her own.
But she thinks Diane (Susan Walters) should really get over it. If she keeps getting angry at Jack over what happened, then Jack might keep blaming Victor, and he might want to get revenge against him. And Nikki can’t have that. Victor must be protected at all costs. So Nikki offers Diane a truce. Diane turns her down. And then tells Nikki what she can do with her offer.
Lily Volunteers Her Children
Lily (Christel Khalil) wanted to be the one to donate bone marrow and stem cells to save an ailing Malcolm (Shemar Moore). But then she learned what Malcolm and Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) should have known from the start — those who have been through chemotherapy can’t be donors.
Holden (Nathan Owens) was supposed to swoop in to the rescue. But he’s not a match. So now it’s up to Charlie and/or Mattie. Lily doesn’t feel the need to ask her children — she just volunteered them. And, in the meantime, she frets to Stephanie.
Holding Updates Cane
Now that Holden is Lily’s brother, he is Mattie and Charlie’s uncle. Which makes him kind of related to Cane (Billy Flynn).
Holden fills Cane in. Will this affect their working relationships? Will it make Holden more enthused about doing Cane’s dirty work?
