The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, April 10, suggest that Adam is liking his new old life as Spyder more than he’s enjoying his old new life with Chelsea and Connor.
Key Takeaways
- Adam gets too close to Riza for comfort.
- Matt gets Nick where he wants him.
- Lily decides that saving Malcolm is her responsibility.
Adam Reconnects With Riza as His Spider Past Threatens His Present
Adam (Mark Grossman) came to Las Vegas to help Nick (Joshua Morrow, who discussed his boyband past) smoke out Matt (Roger Howarth). The way to do that, he decided, is to get back in touch with Riza (Tina Casciani), the woman with whom he had a professional — and personal — relationship during his Spider days.
Riza took him back, no questions asked, which seems very unlike the savvy wheeler-dealer she’s presenting as. But we suspect Riza is playing her cards close to the vest (cards — get it?) and is actually playing Adam every minute he thinks he’s playing her.
When she kisses him, we suspect that, as the song says, this kiss isn’t just a kiss. It’s a reminder of the man he used to be, before domesticity with Chelsea (Melisa Claire Egan) and Connor (Judah Mackey) made Adam boring.
Matt Turns the Tables on Nick as the Vegas Plan Backfires
And while Adam is playing poker — and more — Nick is too stoned to realize the man he came to Vegas to trap, has actually turned the tables, and now Nick is the one in the line of fire.
Lily Refuses to Step Aside as Malcolm’s Fate Shifts to Holden
We predicted that Lily (Christel Khalil) would be ineligible to donate bone marrow to Malcolm (Shemar Moore), and now Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) has confirmed it. But, not to worry, Stephanie has the perfect substitute in mind — her (and Malcom’s) son, Holden (Nathan Owens). But that cuts Lily out of the equation. And she’s not ready to play that.
