The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, April 1, have fans hoping this isn’t just a one-day trick, as Adam reverts to his former persona… and maybe even his wicked, wicked ways.
Key Takeaways
- Adam embraces being Spider.
- Nick takes more and more risks
- Danny brings Tessa and Daniel together
Adam Leans Into His Dark Side as Spider Resurfaces
Adam (Mark Grossman) went to Las Vegas with Nick (Joshua Morrow) to see if he could help smoke out Matt (Roger Howarth) by reverting to his old life as Spider the Gambler. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) said she was worried it would bring back bad memories for Adam. But we think she was actually afraid it would bring back good memories.
Adam is really leaning into the man he used to be. And finding that he’s enjoying it more than he expected — and more than whatever it is he thinks he’s doing back in Genoa City.
Nick’s Risk-Taking Spirals as His Dependence Grows
Nick initially wanted to go to Las Vegas on his own. Not only because he is Victor’s (Eric Braeden) son and he believes he knows best. Not only because he believes Matt is his problem and thus his responsibility to solve on his own.
But also because he didn’t want Adam to see how dependent Nick has become on his pain pills. The addiction is clouding Nick’s judgment. And make him take a chance he might not be able to come back from.
Danny Pulls Daniel and Tessa Together With a Risky Plan
Danny (Michael Damian) wants to cheer Daniel up. He offered his son the chance to travel with Danny and perform on his tour. (Can you imagine how angry people who bought tickets to see Danny Romalatti will be when they’re stuck listening to his kid whose been playing guitar for less than a year?)
Daniel said no, and pointed out that he can’t sing — that’s Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). So now Danny decides to invite them both. What could possibly go wrong? Danny is such a great dad!
