It didn’t take “Young and the Restless” star Sofia Pernas long to find another role after learning she was being downgraded from contract to recurring as Marisa . Within a day, she had auditioned, won a role, and was on set shooting a new TV show.
However, it was a whirlwind adventure that wasn’t meant to be. According to tvseriesfinale.com, the CW Network has decided to pass on the supernatural series “Transylvania.” This news comes as a disappointment to not only Pernas but her costars Laura Brent and Luke Allen-Gale as well.
This isn’t the end of Pernas quest for fame. The actress was also recently on the set of the action movie “The Green Ghost.” The film is now in post-production and fans can see Pernas on the big screen in 2017.
Pernas joined the cast of Y&R in 2015 as a disgruntled ex-lover of drug lord Marco Annicelli (Peter Bergman). It took some time for fans to warm up to her hard-hitting character, but they slowly fell in love.
