On The Young and the Restless, Mishael Morgan seemingly has her hands full trying to stay one step ahead of her character’s dangerous ex-fiancée Ripley Turner. However, that’s not stopping her from tangling with even more psychotic foes in an upcoming Lifetime thriller also starring soap alum Bree Williamson.
Originally titled A Family’s Nightmare, A Killer in My Home is described by the Lifetime Movie Network as the story of Allison Winters whose “perfect world falls apart when her husband dies of a sudden heart attack.
“What she wasn’t expecting was him to announce on his deathbed that he has a secret family! Six months later, Jenna and her teenage son Joshua arrive on Allison’s doorstep, determined to be a part of her and daughter Hollie’s lives… no matter what.”
The role of Allison will be played by One Life to Live and General Hospital alum Bree Williamson (ex-Jessica, ex-Claudette) while Morgan will portray her good friend, who also finds herself victimized by the incoming relatives.
In the summer of 2019, both Williamson and Morgan took to social media to not only promote their upcoming project but to also reveal that their on-screen friendship had spilled over into the real world – they even became, “workout buds,” according to a post on Williamson’s Instagram account.
Williamson’s acting career began with an appearance in the Canadian mystery series Twice in a Lifetime but she became well known to an American audience for the nine years she spent at ABC’s One Life to Live.
Likewise, Morgan’s first role was in a Canadian program — the camptasitc serial MVP — which was eventually followed by a career-defining soap opera role. For her, it was The Young and the Restless’ Hilary Curtis Hamilton. Since 2019, she has appeared as Hilary look-alike Amanda Sinclair.
In addition to the soap actresses, the film’s cast includes Jeff Roop, Hannah Vandenbygaart, Percy Hynes, Krista Bridges, and Damon Runyan. A Killer in My Home will first air on February 28 at 8:00 PM ET with a second showing scheduled for March 1 at the same time.
