They have been co-stars on The Young and the Restless on and off (and now on again) for decades, but Tracey Bregman and Michelle Stafford, who play Lauren and Phyllis respectively, are very close offscreen too and now Bregman has shared a stunning message for her pal on the occasion of her birthday.
Bregman took to her Instagram account and shared a gorgeous shot of Stafford on her birthday. She also wrote a wonderful tribute to her onscreen hubby’s bestie.
“Happy Birthday to one of my sisters in life @therealstafford,” she said adding, “I celebrate your birthday and our amazing long friendship. You are the girl that adjusts another girl’s crown.” That is certainly high praise about their sisterhood but the actress had more to reveal to her followers that everyone may not know.
“You are always there when I need you and you take on the world and Motherhood with such grace. You are one to look up to. You are a powerhouse and I am so grateful to call you friend. Can’t wait to celebrate you soon!! Love you sis! 🎂💗🌟”
It does feel like it’s been a while since Lauren and Phyllis have gotten the chance to hang out together. The two couples — Lauren and husband Michael (Christian Le Blanc) along with Phyllis and her on-again/off-again (and currently on) love, Nick (Joshua Morrow) — were always tons of fun when they would get together and the show could certainly use that dynamic now.
Phyllis is starting to get her groove back. Her new endeavor at the Grand Phoenix, which allows women to be part of an exclusive club, should certainly have Lauren on board! With her store, Fenmore’s, it would be a natural fit. Will that happened? Stay tuned. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
