Life isn’t always easy for Chloe Mitchell Fisher on The Young and the Restless, but things are going great for her portrayer, Elizabeth Hendrickson.
Happy Birthday, Elizabeth Hendrickson
That’s because she was born on July 3, 1979, in New York City, which means that this talented soap star is turning 45 today! Though budding actress Hendrickson auditioned for multiple roles on All My Children—including Bianca Montgomery, Rain Wilkins, and Mindy the cheerleader—she didn’t snag a part until the show decided to launch a murder mystery.
In 2001, she was hired to play doomed-from-the-start Mary Frances Stone, who engaged in an all-too-brief same-sex romance with Bianca prior to her death. In response to fan protest, the soap’s writers scripted a surprise and never-before-discussed twin sister named Mary Margaret Stone.
Hendrickson portrayed “Maggie” from February 2002 to February 2005, plus a short-lived reprisal in 2007. Subsequently, Hendrickson guest-starred on series like Medium, Cold Case, CSI: Miami, and Criminal Minds.
In 2008, she joined the cast of Y&R in the part of Chloe Mitchell, also known as Katherine Tina Valentine. She stayed in the part until May 27, 2014, though she did continue to appear as a guest actress. Hendrickson has been with the CBS soap on recurring status since June 27, 2019.
Hendrickson’s other acting credits include General Hospital, where she played legal eagle Margaux Dawson, Major Crimes, and NCIS: New Orleans, as well as the made-for-TV movie Searching for Bobby D.
Hendrickson has been married to Rob Meder since June 29, 2019, and together the couple welcomed a little girl, Josephine James on March 27, 2020.
