Soap opera veteran Michelle Stafford had quite a soap opera year in 2019. She left her role as Nina Reeves on General Hospital and returned home to The Young and the Restless to play Phyllis, an iconic role she created more than two decades ago.
Through it all, she remained a devoted mom to her two young children, Natalia and Jameson, while also running her own company, Skin Nation, and keeping her trademark wit and positive attitude.
All her gratitude for all the blessings in her life came pouring out on Instagram this past weekend where Stafford’s words illustrated her feelings.
“I’m posting this for all you gals out there. All of you who are making it happen… in whatever you are doing in life. It’s also an appreciation post. So many of you, well all of you actually, are so incredibly lovely,” the actress wrote.
“Your comments on my posts are so heartfelt and sincere. Thank you so much for writing comments on my posts and caring to follow me at all. You’ve become a part of my life, really. That’s the upside of social media:) Together we are like this gal on the wall! Again, thank you so much for being a part of my life. I really just wanted to say THANK YOU!”
On-screen, Phyllis is trying to start the year off on a positive note after nearly everything went wrong for her in 2019. However, she seems to cause a lot of her own problems, so what the odds are pretty high things will start going wrong for her again and soon. Hopefully, Michelle Stafford’s life doesn’t mimic her character’s.
