Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of Our Lives (Days), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Soap Opera Casting For The Week of June 21, 2021

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.

General Hospital

General Hospital fans bid adieu to Jeff Kober, who wrapped up his diabolical run as crime lord Cyrus Renault on June 16. The actor first joined the soap in February 2020.

Cassandra James will be getting more screen time as Dr. Terry Randolph beginning Thursday, June 24. She’ll be involved in a key storyline at the hospital.

Although Kirsten Storms recently underwent brain surgery during a two-week GH production break, the soap has not addressed the status of her character, Maxie Jones. Namely, whether the role will be written off for a few weeks or temporarily recast, while the actress recovers.

Days of our Lives

On the Days of our Lives front, Stacy Haiduk makes an appearance as on-the-run fugitive Kristen DiMera on Friday, June 25.

Remington Hoffman returns as DiMera Enterprises board member Li Shin to oversee the vote for the company’s new CEO. The character last aired on January 19.

Michael Lowry wraps up his run as the corrupt Dr. Snyder, after a struggle with Paul Telfer’s Xander. The daytime vet made his first appearance in April 2021.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Over at The Bold and the Beautiful Joe LoCicero makes a surprise appearance as Vinny Walker, Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) late best friend, on Monday, June 21.

Aaron D. Spears returns for more airtime as Spencer Publications’ attorney Justin Barber beginning Tuesday, June 22.

B&B’s Supervising Producer Casey Kasprzyk makes his debut in front of the camera on Thursday, June 24. He’ll play a prisoner at the facility holding Liam (Scott Clifton) and Bill (Don Diamont).

Also, Mike Nordike begins a stint as a prison guard on Friday, June 25.
