So Long, Travis! Michael Roark OFF The Young and the Restless!

As fans wondered if Victoria could ever forgive Travis’s betrayal on The Young and the Restless, actor Michael Roark gave us the answer this afternoon.

In a tweet, he wished Y&R a fond goodbye, as he stood in front of the show’s CBS studio. He also left fans with a larger message, explaining his character’s motives and feelings, while admitting Travis truly did love Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Roark made his Y&R debut this year as the man Vicky met in a bar, embarking on a clandestine romance under the name Tori. Roark was seemingly written off the show before when Travis chose to sail around the world, but he soon returned, with he and Victoria picking up where they left off.

Victor (Eric Braeden) even gave Travis a job, but then watched him break his daughter’s heart by sleeping with ex-girlfriend Michelle.
