Ever since Kyle returned to The Young and the Restless, he’s been too busy wheeling and dealing, scheming and dreaming – and robbing graves – all as a way to get to the top of Jabot management, so he hasn’t worried all that much about romance.
Sure, he made a bet with Summer (Hunter King). If she couldn’t get Billy (Jason Thompson) into bed by the end of summer, she’d sleep with Kyle (Michael Mealor), instead. But when it came time to collect, Kyle faked being asleep. He didn’t want a quickie. He wanted love, romance, the whole works.
(Of course, Summer DID end up sleeping with Billy, and he then disappeared to rehab before she woke.)
And now there’s a possibility for all of that on the horizon. Her name is Lola (Sasha Calle). She runs a food truck. (You have to sing that part to the tune of Copacabana). She’s been flirting with Kyle… but also playing hard to get. Something Summer doesn’t know the definition of.
So which woman is the better fit for our Kyle? We got over 8,000 votes!
Try Something New
Lola and Kyle don’t have a complicated history. And that’s a good thing according to 77% of you. Just like Kyle tried a new food, he should try a new woman. One who isn’t a spoiled, entitled brat out to steal her mom’s man.
Now, granted, we don’t know for a fact that Lola’s family is any less complicated than Summer’s. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Arturo (Jason Canela) clearly have some bad blood between them. But you’re willing to take the risk. And so should Kyle.
Stick With the Tried and True
Kyle has already tried Summer. He knows what he’s in for, 23% of the audience argues back.
They’ve already been through the bad stuff. The least Kyle deserves is to reap the rewards. Besides, he and Summer hooking up would add another warped branch to the twisted Newman/Abbott family tree.
