Sharon Is Caring: Is She Right About Tessa on The Young and the Restless?

When Sharon first found out that her daughter Mariah was dating a woman on The Young and the Restless, she didn’t blink. But then Sharon (Sharon Case) found out that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was dating Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). And she blinked. A lot.

Tessa is a known liar. She manipulated her way into Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) home. She lied about her sister, Crystal, and almost got a couple of people killed. She secretly read Mariah’s journal and used the words to write a song, then lied about that.

Oh, and then she blackmailed Sharon, Nikki, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about their killing JT (Thad Luckinbill).

And she lied about destroying the flash drive that held the evidence and giving the money away to charity.

Mariah knows all this, and yet she returned to Tessa anyway. Because she felt bad that Sharon participated in Nikki and Victoria kidnapping her and driving her out into the woods to get some straight answers. Then leaving Tessa there. She might have gotten the sniffles!

Now Sharon is trying to be civil, but it’s not easy. Is Sharon right about her daughter’s love? What almost 5,000 fans voted:

Of course, she is, 92% insist. Sharon knows a lot about being treated like crap by the person you’ve given your heart to.

Most recently it was Nick (Joshua Morrow), but let’s not forget Adam and Dylan and Matt and Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) and Brad and Scott and… let’s just say she’s experienced — and leave it at that.

Sharon may not be able to protect herself, but she sure can do her best to protect her daughter. Listen to your mother, Mariah!
