Popular “Young and the Restless” star Sean Carrigan promises viewers the drama with Mad Max (Jared Breeze) isn’t over just yet.
Carrigan’s (Stitch) TV son may have confessed to making sure Abby (Melissa Ordway Gaston) took the fall down the stairs and then starting that fire, but according to Carrigan, there’s more trouble on the way.
“Some other stuff’s going to happen,” he told WUSA9.
Playing the part of a grieving dad isn’t easy, and Carrigan explained that he had to dive right in to keep up the momentum in such a compelling story.
“It’s heavy stuff,” he said. “It’s emotional…When you’re getting into a role, you have to take on those feelings and try to make them as real as you can.”
While losing a baby in such a dramatic way can make for great television, he admitted that the storyline can be hard for some viewers to watch.
Carrigan refused to reveal any spoilers, but if Max’s his reign of terror isn’t over, fans can only imagine what may happen next. Will Mad Max resent being turned over to social services and go after Abby, Dylan (Steve Burton), and his father in a fit of revenge?
Max is a troubled young man who’s getting worse by the day. If he doesn’t get the proper help he needs, anything could happen.
