Even though he hasn’t been formerly charged with Natalia’s murder, Scott’s on shaky ground on The Young and the Restless (YR) ever since he was found in bed with the dead call girl.
We know Zack set him up, but can Scott convince others of that? Soap Hub asked Y&R viewers to weigh in on this and here are your answers!
Majority Rules
The good news is that an overwhelming majority of you, over 96%, believe that Scott (Daniel Hall) will be able to get everyone to believe that he’s innocent and Zack is guilty. And why shouldn’t he?
For starters, he’s got the truth on his side. There have to be witnesses who saw Scott being “helped” out of the bar by Zack, and Scott has no history of drinking too much in public.
It was convenient that Zack drugged him with a pill that didn’t seem to stay in his system, but Scott could research that those drugs do indeed exist and use that to support his case.
Margin For Error
Over 3% of you think that Scott won’t be successful in convincing others of his innocence and Zack’s involvement in the death of the call girl. It’s hard for some of you to have confidence in Scott since he’s not having much luck with getting Abby (Melissa Ordway) to stay away from Zack.
Maybe he should say something like, “Abby, I’m certain Zack drugged me and he’s responsible for Natalia’s murder.” Or, better yet, Scott could go to Victor and suggest he influence his daughter. As Victor never likes the men who date Victoria or Abby, he’d probably be willing to think the worst of Zack without much convincing!
Dear Abby
It’s understandable that Abby isn’t going to believe the worst about Zack. For starters, Scott could tell Abby that the moon isn’t made out of cheese and she’d find a way to debate that! (We can hear her now: “Have you ever been to the moon, Scott?”)
It’s actually fun to watch Scott and Abby do the “Moonlighting” banter thing, but given that the stakes are high, let’s hope that Scott is able to convince everyone — especially Abby — that Zack is not a good guy!
